MMEA 2023 All State Conference and Concert

MMEA All-State Conference and All-State Concert Rehearsal Site Announcement

After exploring several different options over several months, we are excited to announce that the 2023 MMEA All-State Conference and All-State Rehearsals will be held at the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center in Westford, MA on Thursday, March 2nd and Friday, March 3rd followed by the All-State Concert at Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 4th. This facility will allow us to house all of our conference sessions as well as provide space for all of our ensembles to rehearse in the same building on the same site.

The All-State Conference will hold sessions all day on Thursday and Friday. This will be a two-day conference with no sessions on Saturday this year.

The All-State Ensembles will have one full day rehearsal on Friday, March 3rd from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Note: there will be no overnight accommodations for students. We will follow the same process as last year where students can arrive that morning and leave that evening)

The All-State Concert will be held on Saturday, March 4th at Symphony Hall in Boston with a Dress Rehearsal on the morning of March 4th at Symphony Hall.

MMEA will have a block of rooms at the hotel designated for any MMEA member who would like to stay on site during the conference.

More specific details are being worked out including the registration fees, so more information to follow in the coming months.

We do recognize that this is still not the traditional conference and concert experience we had prior to the pandemic and we continue to appreciate your flexibility as we work on getting back to that format in future years.

We look forward to a wonderful conference and concert in March and please reach out with any questions.
